Miss Jada has officially been sleeping in her big girl bed for 45 min. I'm so proud of her.

We headed over to IKEA yesterday morning with Aunt Mariah (she's visiting us for the weekend) and picked out Jada's very first big girl bed. She was SO excited when we got home that she just played the entire afternoon on the mattress. This afternoon, Gabe put the bed together and the whole time Jada was dancing around the room saying "Big Girl Bed! Jada's Big Girl Bed!". After it was all together, she exclaimed, "Daddy made Jada's big girl bed! Thank you, Daddy! Thank you!". She's so proud to be a big girl.

I know she's 2, and a lot of her friends have been in toddler beds for a while now, but it feels like such a big milestone. I can't believe how fast she's growing up. Everyday is just so amazing - she develops new words and skills with every day that goes by. I am so blessed to have her in my life. Goodnight, my big girl.

How she was sleeping when I went in her room this morning to wake her up (just had to share!)...

I think it's crazy how kids these days (wow, I'm sounding old) can figure out technology so quickly. Jada not only knows how to unlock my iPhone, but she can scroll through the pages of apps, find her "Kitty the Cat" storybook, click on it, and read along... all in about 15 seconds when I leave the room to grab something. And she just turned 2. Crazy.

Here she is playing with Daddy's iPad. It's her new favorite toy (she only plays with it while extremely supervised!). There are actually a ton of really cool, educational apps out there, such as this Toddler ABCs app.
